Orlando Pearson is a London based businessman who has worked for some of the world’s largest companies. So by day he commutes to work in the day and by night he communes with the spirits of Baker Street. The outcome of this communing is five books in the series The Redacted Sherlock Holmes – stories that were too scandalous to appear in the lifetime of the Great Baker Street Detective.

Orlando originally studied German with Italian before going into business and has lived in Austria, Belgium and Greece. His Sherlock Holmes stories often take their hero out of London and cover politics – including resolving Brexit, classical music, literature, religion, history, and business

His stories are published by MX Publishing and part of the proceeds of his work and that of other MX authors go to two charitable causes – Stepping Stones a school for children with special needs set up in one of Arthur Conan Doyle’s old houses, and Happy Life, a children’s home in Kenya. Some of his stories have been translated into German and Italian and one of them – a Holmesian version of Macbeth - has been staged.

Orlando is married to a Neusserin and lives with her and their two children in London.

Saturday, November 24: Bi-annual Book Sale
